It's so hard to find right now due to its great value. I wish you luck in finding one.
I have one ready for pickup at HD. It comes with a foam cannon. I'll have to give it a try before I spend more $$ on a better one.

Guess I'll have to settle for a tie for Father's Day, lol.

You can make thick shaving cream like foam by getting the MJJC Pro v2 foam cannon and the new Ryobi pressure washer. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-1...h-Flow-Pressure-Washer-Kit-RY14AM12/333071566

These are relatively cheap and would likely provide the best bang for your buck. Forewarning, this could become an expensive hobby!
The reviews on the Ryobi pressure washer seem to be pretty accurate. Overall, it's a nice pressure washer, especially for a novice like myself. The foam cannon is pretty mediocre, though. Doesn't foam as well as it should. And the hose is kinda stiff and has a lot of memory. That is, it likes to snarl itself into a ball. Probably it will get a little better after a couple uses, though. I do think I need to get a better cannon, though, for sure. The reviews I watched recommended Raincovo as it's considerably cheaper. Personally, I'll probably spend the extra money and get the good one.

I've had a Sun Joe similar to this one for over a decade. Use it for everything - pavers, fences, cars, etc. It's bulletproof:

I have a Sun Joe and it required an adapter to work with third party hoses. The Ryobi should work without one.

The below video helped me modify my Sun Joe.

I’m looking just to have a simple garden hose variety

That's interesting. I rarely use it to wash my cars, but when I do, I just use the wand. But this configuration in the video definitely seems more dynamic.

Same. Prior to watching that, I used my power washer once or twice a year to wash the driveway and the house only because the Sun Joe surface cleaner was back breaking to use. The hose was short and also prone to kinks so I felt like I was constantly fighting against the pressure washer.

With the attachments, I was able to add an extension wand, a no kink and longer hose, and added a surface washer with wheels so it was easier on the back. It made the overall experience better and made the pressure washer more versatile.

Overall, I'm a lot happier with the pressure washer now than before the upgrades cause it felt like a waste using it once or twice a year.

@Travlcub, not sure what your circumstances are, but just wanted to provide some food for thought. The pressure washer, with upgrades, gives you flexibility.

And to give you an idea of what soap you get with a soap gun vs cannon, see here:

This whole setup is a little pricey, but I see how it adds a whole lot of versatility to pressure washer. I think I'll start off with getting the quick release fittings though. That'll make storing the hose way easier. Thanks!

I appreciate it. I just want to keep it simple and economical.

I think the distinction is getting lost here: there’s a world of difference between foam cannon and foam gun. Cannons require a pressure washer when guns don’t.
I didn't realize there was a distinction and it sounds like the OP may not have either.

So any suggestions how to easily store 40' worth of hose? I like the mounted reels but need to be able to move it.
