A few times now I have experienced that audio only comes from one side when connecting iPhone with CarPlay. Reseting the system resolves the issue.
known problem?

Let’s say it is know to at least both of us. I got that once in a while. Resetting the car media center is not enough in my case, I also need to restart the iPhone. After I got the latest sequence of updates I have not noticed that anymore.

I get that every now and then. Interestingly in my case hitting the pause button and then rehitting it to resume play seems to work.

I have seen this problem twice. Once early one two years ago and once yesterday. Changing audio sources (audio book to music app) fixed it. Assuming a CarPlay glitch.

Known Carplay issue. I got this yesterday for the first time in a long time. I had Siri read a text message, then it was fine. I have also fixed it by switching between music and podcast apps. Switching to radio and back also works, I think, but I never set up stations so I tend to avoid this. Since I can resolve it without leaving Carplay, I assume it isn't a Ford issue .
