I purchased these brand new, direct from Suma in December of last year and installed them on January 13th, 2025.
About a few weeks ago my car started giving me blind spot and rear cross traffic faults. After a while, I noticed that the blind spot light on the passenger side mirror wasn't lighting up.
A couple days ago, I pulled the mirrors off to inspect them and I discovered a disconnected wire on the passenger side mirror harness. Also, while uninstalling, The plastic ring clip on the passenger mirror broke in half and one of the plastic ring clip tabs on the driver side mirror broke off. I don't have the piece of broken tab from the driver's side mirror, but the ring clip on the passenger mirror could easily be glued back together.
Also, it shouldn't take much to solder the wire back on to the passenger mirror harness.
For me, however, I decided it's not worth my time or effort to fix the issues. As much as I appreciated the tint on the Suma mirrors and the wider viewing angle, I'm perfectly content with my stock mirrors again. I was going to just throw these out, but figured I'd offer them to someone here for the cost of shipping only.
Please, DM me for more information.
