Hey Everyone!

I recently got my tires mounted and balanced for winter. Going forward I want to change the tires on my own. That being said, this is my first car with a TPMS and was wondering what are the steps to reconnect the TPMS when putting back my summer tires.

TIA

The car will automatically learn after driving a bit. I get my tires swapped between summer and winter and never had to manually do anything.

Yup just put the wheels on and drive it. It will figure it out.

It also might be beneficial to go into settings -> vehicle -> tire pressure “press and (…)” to reset it. According to the description it should be done each time you change tires. If it is really needed - probably not, only done it once (and changed tires more often), but at least it starts on 0.0 and learns after some driving.

Another thought. I run Mich cross climate 2s year around to avoid the swap. I live south of Buffalo where we've already had 60 inches this winter so I have some street cred.
