The screen is falling.

My MME (PR ER AWD) has blank/freeze screen issues. When these issues disappear for a period of time, the screen is very slow to turn on and the lack time is unbelievable. To top of the issues, my MME screen has a long line that looks like bad pixels. I just saw the line today when I was backing out from a parking spot. If the screen was blank, I would not have seen the defect. It will have to go back to the dealership for the third time. Does anybody else have the same issue?

Thank you for the suggestion. I restarted the car and the line was still there. I will try to reboot Sync 4. I have never done that before but I should find the instructions on the forum.

On the steering wheel, hold down the volume button and the track forward button until the screen goes black.

From the thread title, I was expecting to see the screen falling on the ground.

On the steering wheel, hold down the volume button and the track forward button until the screen goes black.

Don't forget, when it comes back to life, you'll need to turn the volume up again.
