I noticed a rhythmic thumping coming from the rear of the vehicle on my way home this evening. 36k on original set of Michelins that I’ve had rotated and inflated based on Ford recommendations. Fairly even tread wear but the tread wear indicators are clearly exposed. Tires are obviously due for replacement. I have scheduled service with local Ford dealer on Monday. Any other known issues that might be contributing to the thumping?

I have had similar experience. Does it sound like it’s coming more from the passenger roofline? That’s where mine is. Not tires. I suspect my issue is electronic.

Doesn’t seem to be coming from the roofline. Started during rainy conditions after driving through a construction zone and after coming to a complete stop where I used the brake pedal (I typically use one-pedal). My initial thought was the tires had picked up some mud/debris as I drove through the construction zone because the thumping was initially very loud but faded over the next mile and then it continued until I got home. The louder thumping may have simply drawn my attention to a pre-existing issue that was masked by my music.

I've had this too. Try cycling your brake rotors and discs to clean them up from rust/debris. I do the following at least once a week and it may decrease this cyclical (by speed) thumping sound.

Put the car in neutral when going down a hill and apply the brakes.

With regenerative braking, the brakes are rarely used when at speed.

Have you checked for bunny rabbits behind the rear seat in the cargo area? :D
Now that’s a possibility. I startled a wild bunny on my driveway earlier this week. Hoping they haven’t taken up residence in my car.

Check if you have anything stuck in your tire

This doesn't sound exactly like your issue, but there is an electronic glitch that sends pulses to the subwoofer, which is located in the right rear of the car. It has only happened to me once, but mine happened on startup instead of after driving for awhile. I initially thought I had something rolling around in the cargo area. The giveaway for this glitch is that it activates with every detente on the volume wheel. Rebooting Sync or a key cycle will clear it.
