Trip Computer Inaccurate

I guess I must’ve hit all green lights today as my trip computer says I’ve travelled 84 miles in 30 minutes.
Though, 3.9 miles/kWh is outstanding for 170 miles per hour.

I've seen that before. not even fully pulled out of my driveway yet and the trip computer has shown me I've already gone 15 miles.

I can't tell why, but it seems like many times the mileage on This Trip just doesn't reset. The elapsed time will reset but not the miles. I definitely see the miles no reset when I start the car remotely, but I have also seen the miles no reset when I just get in the car first thing in the morning and I can tell the miles are a continuation from the day before.

I hope that the odometer shows the correct distance?
I notice today that my trip meter shown twice my actually km traveled.
