A long-standing topic, but there was news of an update in this realm referenced in a recent unrelated post. Can anyone confirm the status of Tronity's legitimate support (i.e., valid use of the Ford API that won't cause us to get locked out) for MME's...announced (to me at least) via email on 12/31 (snip below)? This was speculated (at least) a year ago, and I got all hot and bothered about looking at data given what I had seen of data Tesla users can score from their vehicle...

Tronity works in the US, at the time Ford prohibited everyone from using it, and then banned our Ford Pass accounts. throughout 2023 Tronity said they were going to work with Ford on allowing the integration. I'm wondering if this is Tronity announcing that we can use it again.

I did not ask permission to post the details of his response, but I exchanged email with Tronity on the whole issue around "blessed" integration with Ford so we don't all get blocked from use of FordPass, and, was told, "this issue is not valid anymore and we have now a contract with Ford."
