Two Buttons on Trunk / Liftgate

Hey MME Hive Mind,

I noticed that there are two buttons on the trunk/liftgate. Both operate (lower) the trunk, and the one on the left can also be used to set the liftgate opening limit. My question is: what’s with the center button? Does it do something that the button on the left does not do?

Yes, you can access it with the tailgate down to save you doing the tailgate swing step

A can of beans and hitting both of those buttons at the same time can enable fart noises. *
