USB Media slow load problem

Is anyone out there playing music with USB media? The USB load time in my Mach-E after starting the car is just way too slow. After a few sec, the screen will say trying to reconnect the media device. The problem I have is Mach-E somehow has a "genius" design that after a certain second of failed connection to USB, it will switch to the Radio. I have to manually switch it back after the USB is successfully loaded. The auto switch will happen about 1 out of 10. Really annoy. I have tried different USBs and different ports. Remote starting the car first eliminates the problem, music comes on immediately. Clearly slow start-up on the programming part. Ford, I just wish you can at least give me an option to turn off the auto source switch feature in the setting.
