Dear All,

I currently own non EV cars and thought I will not need a EV in my lifetime but Govt is forcing/tempting to go EV route by all those tax benefits.
I have 3 cars at the moment a 4.5 diesel, a 3.3 petrol hybrid and a 2 litre petrol one. I spend about 550 per month on my petrol ones.
Thinking of replacing the two petrol ones with a EV as I can claim costs under company benefit.
I drive 80-100 miles a day. considering a used EnayQ 80 or used Mach E. 2021 or 2022 models as they fit my 500/month replacement.
Please advice if used Mache is reliable? All I need is reliable stress free motoring like my current cars.

Looking at used ones in my area and they are very low. 17000 miles at $25k. Autotrader cars.com carvana all have some dealers just want to give them out of inventory because of the recent recall I guess. Our GTPE is awesome in 18500 miles. 1 OTA dealer required update for 2 faults a 12v and suspension. Cleared up months ago and its a glorious awesome sports ev to drive everyday. Good hunting.

With my budget and also this is going to be my first EV, I am a bit more careful on how much to spend so planning to go for second part of 21 and 22 year models. I am also considering 75Kw standard range ones with 273 miles instead of long range to avoid potential high voltage contractors issue. I go 40 miles school round trip in the morning and stay at home till 3PM. Then do 40 mile school trip at 3 and other trips to shops, classes etc in the evening. car stays at home for lot of time to charge. I like Mache e but this time will not follow my heart blindly

My Mach E plan went unexpected. I decided to go for new EV and booked a grabber blue Mach E RWD premium as there was a 0 deposit offer and thought of using that deposit amount for PPF and ceramic coating on full car.
Finance guys asked for a min of 30% deposit and Kia was offering competitive interest rates with a bit less deposit. I finally canceled Mach E order and ordered a EV6. Kia will be owned within 3 years so hope to come back for updated Mach E next time with part exchange.
