Using an AI box for Google Maps preconditioning when you have an iPhone?

Simple, question. I have an iPhone. I don't have the option to precondition with Apple CarPlay. Will an AI box allow me to use Google Maps on Android to precondition when driving to a DC fast charging station?

I know AI boxes are frowned upon in some circles, just looking for another navigation solution besides the built-in one. I don't know if Apple will ever open up privacy settings which I understand is the issue right now. Thanks.

I didn't know you could get it to switch interface protocols. I'll have to look into that. Last time I messed with mine I couldn't figure out a way to change it. It's difficult because there's no documentation anywhere and the AI box enthusiasts seem to only want to make YouTube videos rather than have written posts anywhere that are searchable.
