I have seen some results in my search in the Mustang blog for V2G. I think it comes available on short terme because legislation and normlisation is upcoming. I saw in the netherlands the first F150 who has extra plugs for domestic Electricity use. Is this also already availbale for the Mustang RWD 75KWH ?

Hi Han

Unfortunately it’s not available on the Mach-E at the moment.

Thanks. But do you know if it is someware taken in the roadmap for development ? I am thinking about taking a home battery for the effcient use of my solar panels but It would be more logical to use the large battery from my Mustang for this.

you can extract energy from the Mach-e 12v connection points at 160amps..... say 1500 watts to be safe, and use it however you want.

run loads directly with an external inverter, charge another EV at L1 - 120v rate, power circuits(s) in your home (off-grid), etc, etc.

Depends on the model. The GTs have 220a DC-DC units in them. I haven't tried to draw metered loads yet, but I'd suspect you'd be able to get the DC-DC unit to supply a 14v+ output if your battery is even slightly drained. Once the 12v BMS sees that the battery is 'full', it reverts voltage to ~13.5v which is the AGM float voltage range while it handles the vehicle's loads w/out the batt.

yes, GTs have a bigger dc-dc.....

as a generic solution though, any Mach-e can export 1500 watts continuous as long as it is 'on' and not running interior eheat or a/c
