Leg 1 - 2.94, 2.7, 2.4, 2.6
Leg 2 - 2.8, 2.8, 2.5, 3.1
Leg 3 - 3.0, 2.9, 2.3, 2.8
Leg 4 - 2.7, 3.2, 2.4, 3.0

Always plan your route with multiple apps / software including Ford's navigation, ABRP, PlugShare, and GoogleMaps.


We've now driven 3 long trips in the Mach-E. Two of them utilized a common group of chargers for parts of the trip. I thought it would be interesting to compare miles per kWh to show people how it can vary:

Leg 1 - greater Ann Arbor area to Huber Heights, Ohio and back again. On 8/29, we got 2.94m/kWh. On the return 2 weeks later, we left from a different location (Harpers Point, Ohio), and stopped partway to recharge. 2.7m/kWh. On 3/12 we got 2.4. On the return on 3/24 we got 2.6.

Leg 2 - Huber Heights / Harpers Point to Georgetown, KY. On 8/29 we got 2.8. On the return on 9/15 we got 2.8. On 3/12 we got 2.5. On 3/24 we got 3.1.

Leg 3 - Georgetown, KY to Williamsburg, KY. On 8/29 we got 3.0. On the return we got 2.9. On 3/12 we got 2.3. On 3/24 we got 2.8.

Leg 4 - Williamsburg, KY to Knoxville, TN. On 8/29 we got 2.7. On 9/12 we got 3.2. On 3/12 we got 2.4. On 3/24 we got 3.0 but left from Asheville.
