My 6 month Old Mach-E performance edition GT the front grill (Black Plastic) has cracked. The car has not hit anything, driven normally and garage kept.

My local dealership thought for sure Ford would take care of it, and they have declined to assist in getting it Fixed. There is no signs of impact at all on the car, the panel is a bit misaligned. Larger gap on the drivers side then the passenger side yet they still say they will not assist at all. $2,200 for the part too.

Very disappointed with Ford.

Pardon the bugs I'm in Florida.

Ford feel free to contact me as I feel this needs to be resolved.

Show this to a body shop. A good one can fix this (small wires are melted into the back). A new wrap close to the original will cover the original. It'll cost less than an OEM replacement.

Have you gone to you insurance co. yet?

Honestly ford customer service and the dealers in Denver are the reason i am selling my MME. I have three open recalls. Two of them are the glass recalls. I can live with the recalls. That is part of owning a first generation vehicle that I accepted as a risk.

What really bothers is Ford and the dealers not really caring. I was without my car for about three days after a faulty 12-volt because my closest dealer just did nothing with it (ford roadside was terrible BTW. AAA was bad too but at least they did something to fix their mistake. Ford did nothing.). It took me 9 months, two NHTSA complaints, one FTC complaint, and talking to about 5-6 dealers to get scheduled for the glass recalls (they reached out yesterday after previously cancelling) and that was after three other cancellations for previous appointments (two of which after I had arrived at the service center for my appointment).

It just really concerns me that it has been so contentious and difficult for something relatively simple like the glass recalls. Now imagine there was a real issue like 22S41 recall, which I also have to deal with right now? I am now not driving to Vail next week for fear of disaster pending this sale with the HVBJB. I just can't imagine how long I would be without a vehicle.

Polestar is offering me a great price on the MME (after tax credits I am making real money on this sale) and I've loved the MME (it really is perfect for what my family and I need size wise) but Ford has made it too worrisome for me to move forward any longer with them or maybe ever again (at least for a long time). I acknowledge this is me making this problem bigger than it is, but I have to drive a decent amount around a large metro area and sometimes to the mountains and northern parts of the state. Having such shoddy service from so many dealers has really just been a huge shocker.

me too. The recall 22S41 was supposed to be handle OTA mid-July as of 1-August nothing. I am planning a drive to NYC on the 15TH which will require DC charging. Not pleasant owning a vehicle that can't be trusted.

So I sold my MME. I got a good offer and after two NHTSA Complaints and one FTC complaint, I had a dealer reach out to perform the glass recalls. By that point it was too late because just don't feel that Ford can support its customers, especially if something serious happened.

Switched to a Polestar 2, and the sales process was unbelievably smooth. I got an online quote, and when my car arrived, I was in and out in 20 minutes with the paperwork (minus the test drive). Felt safe and unconcerned about driving from Denver to Vail this week for a work conference whereas with the most recent recall (which i was part of) I did not feel ok driving that far, at that speed and up into the mountains. I loved the mach e but it is much more relaxing to knwo the company I bought from can actually do something and not tell me there is nothing we can do to make the dealers do the work.

Sorry to be leaving this great community but @Ford Motor Company is directly responsible for my departure. It will honestly be a long time before I ever consider a Ford again.
