Picked up my GT today. Only drove about 50 miles in it but some quick thoughts.

VERY quick. From a dead stop it pulls. Even smashing it at 50 it goes pretty good. Not bad at 70 either. This is coming from someone who has had 4 M cars including a 650hp M5, AMGs tuned by renntech, and a couple of porches. Also have a ton of road racing experience. It has plenty of power at highway speeds. Is it an M5, nope, but it's pretty good.

Suspension is stiff , but that's what I wanted. It does seem a little bouncy though.

Stereo is decent after some tweaking. You need a good source and it sounds pretty good. If you put some low bandwidth source it sounds terrible.

Frunk button on app works. PAAK works but seems like it takes a while to recognize the phone and turn on.

Blue Cruise is really cool. I was on I70 climbing the mountains and if a semi gets too close to you it tells you to take the wheel. But the little bit I used it it worked well.

Nice to see with Android auto and waze that your map is also displayed on your little dash over the steering wheel.

Tons of room in back seat.

Sure I'll have much more and pics in next few days.

We have a lot in common, with road racing experience and previous fast cars (not as nice as yours), and what we think of the MME GT's performance.... with that said, what I am curious about is the stereo. Sirius-XM sounds terrible. What "better" source are you using, other than local/HD radio? Doesn't Bluetooth streaming restrict bandwidth too?

Congrats on your new GT. I guess @Davedough needs to use his bat on you in the grumpy thread. ?

None what so ever. Everything straight forward. Have to finish signing this morning because my wife couldn't get down there until today but I signed all paper work and they gave me the car. Will keep you posted on final out come. X-plan and ford options 1.4% and 1k back.

Don't have a MME yet but I do have the B&O system in my current GT. Depending on the channel, Sirius uses a ton of compression and in general the sound quality for music channels is shit. I only use it for talk radio for the most part. Bluetooth from your phone will be vastly superior to SiriusXM.

Bluetooth by nature doesn't really degrade the sound . I use Spotify and select highest quality in the settings. The codec they use makes for minimal compression. FM HD actually sounds pretty good too. Most of Sirius xm is bad. Lithium seems to be ok as xm goes. Less popular channels sound horrible.
