I have a Kewiq USB Charger Color Voltmeter & switch to monitor the 12v battery. It has an on/off switch but has an led light burning when it is in the off position. I know this is probably an insignificant amount of current but is it ok to leave it plugged in?

The 12v plug loses power after the car has been off a little while (10 minutes or something like that) so it is ok to leave it plugged in.

yes, leave it plugged in....
a. energy is insignificant
b. acc power ports turn off 10 minutes after you turn car off anyway, unless you change your auto-off setting, or disable it so the car can stay 'on' while camping or when you want to leave the a/c on while you run into a store.... If you leave the car fully 'on', then the power is coming from the HV and won't drain the little 12v battery at all.

you may see as low as 12.1v if you happen to catch it powering up by pushing your start button WITHOUT brake to turn on acc power without the big HV battery, but as soon as the car is 'on' it should rise to 14.4-14.9.

You should *never* see less than 12.0. If you do, there is a problem with HV not charging the LVB

I have an Innova 3721 voltage checker but I don’t leave it plugged in. I use it more for my Truck than the car because my Truck battery frequently dips below 12 v. So far, I have yet to see the MME battery dip below 12v.

Thanks for your replies. It’s not a big deal but I wish there was a 12v power outlet at the front of the cockpit.

I know there is one there I was wishing there was further forward. At the front of the media bin where the USB outlets, for example.
