I don't, I think they're worthy of more praise that any established automaker. I really do find it hard to see why they deserve scorn, they're farther ahead on the ICE to EV transition than anyone.

We're clearly never going to agree on this. Volkswagen is pushing the world forward to the all-electric future more than anyone else, if that doesn't atone for past sins and Ford's history of similar practices are forgivable then we obviously don't see the world the same way.
