Not sure if this is the right forum for this but it seemed the most appropriate.

Today when I started my car after its regular overnight charging to 90% SoC, the car reported a range of something like 113 miles. I reset the driving data in Sync and the number changed to a more normal one, actually a little higher than I've been seeing but a reasonable no-data baseline value (272 miles @ 90% SoC).

Anyone ever seen something like this? Any suggestions as to the cause? Seems likely it was just a software glitch and not a sign of a 'real' issue with the car's power system or something but it does have me a little concerned.

One other piece of information that may be relevant. Yesterday afternoon I went for a long drive, and programmed in a waypoint about 90 miles away before leaving. As I was backing out of my driveway the display flashed a message saying something about my range being adjusted because something something my destination, didn't read it that carefully and just hit ok but my range was typical for the car at that time.

If you recently got PowerUp 3.6.2 or 4.2.6 it is because your driving history was cleared so the GOM now reflects EPA baseline, your EV range goes up or down depending on your driving profile. It will gradually adjust back to what it was.

Ah. I did just get 4.2.*5* (not 4.2.6). Thanks.

Intelligent Range will now start adjusting range when you put a route into the navigation.

I guess I should pay more attention to updates and system messages ?

Mine did that yesterday. Went from 254mi @ 84% charge to 185mi. My first thought was some battery cells went bad or something but now the GOM is working its way back up.

I got the 4.2.6 update a couple weeks ago now. And the email about the more accurate GOM then - although now it's completely innacurately low.

Yup, mine doing the same after a trip to the dealer for an unrelated issue. I guess they updated the software without telling me.

The original GOM which was fairly accurate has gone crazy with all those updates. ?‍?
