Good afternoon,

I've had my 2023 Mach-E GT Performance for just under a year, as it sits, I'm currently at 3,063 miles on the odometer. Unfortunately, it seems my vehicle is inundated with issues that aren't being dealt with by the dealer where I purchased the vehicle, as the service center has been incredibly dismissive of my inquiries. The first issue became prevalent toward the end of September of 2024, where I heard a loud "clunk" as I shifted the vehicle into drive one morning, and what followed can only be described as the sound of a flat tire, or clunking sound when I attempted to accelerate. I was able to find an example video that's consistent with what I was hearing, which is in this thread's initial post: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/loud-clunking-noise-when-accelerating.21374/

The sound was persistent, all the way up to when I dropped the vehicle off on 10/01/2024, where I was later advised that the dealership couldn't reproduce the issue after the vehicle had sat for several days (go figure). Just before I dropped the vehicle off, and to be sure, I also had my dad come down and drive the vehicle, so he can attest to the aforementioned issue, it could even be heard from outside of the vehicle.

Now, secondly, I presented to the dealership's service center AGAIN on December 31st of 2024, to address the windshield washer motor recall, and some other concerns I had with the vehicle, to include:

  1. A loud "clunk" noise that could be felt in the steering wheel/cabin when turning left with the vehicle. This is also accompanied by a creaking noise when turning, that can also be heard inside and outside the vehicle.
  2. Received a "front parking sensor fault" after taking the vehicle off charge.
  3. A burning smell, that has been prevalent during bouts of driving in snow, and colder weather.
The dealership, again, failed to adequately address these concerns, and instead attributed the aforementioned clunking noise to an iK Foam Pro 2 Sprayer in the frunk area, which was obviously NOT the issue, given this could be heard from the front driver's side wheel well (both inside and outside the vehicle), and felt in the steering wheel. Has anyone else had similar experiences with their Mach-E, or have any inclination as to what these issues maybe, or entail?

Thanks,
Gabriel
