BTW at least these buttons work to dim the screen(s). My FFE has nonfunctioning dimming buttons with like 18 settings. 0 and 18 are the only ones that work.

Ah Parking Assist!! That's why it appears to do nothing! I don't have park assist in my MME due to a chip shortage at the time of purchase.

Can someone tell me what this button is for? It appears when the back up camera is on while in reverse.

Pretty sure that's not for parking assist, but for the beeps you get from the proximity sensors. Those sensors activate at lower speeds and are meant to be parking assistive aids for your own information.
