Names matter.

“Mustang” is cool. Galaxy isn’t (at least not anymore).
When did galaxies stop being cool?

I'll have you know that galaxies move a lot faster than mustangs do. Mach 1 is pretty quick, but our very own Milky Way galaxy travels thru space at Mach 1,700.

I don't know what the hell Mach E is...

You do bring up some good points and that’s a great logical deduction. All I can say is I’ve had the same 1967 Mustang since I was 18 20+ years ago and would not have bought a Galax-E.

I would also venture to say there are less former Galaxie owners in the market for an EV regardless of what its name is.

Technically though, the Mustang is moving at the same speed as the Galaxy. As soon as the Mustang moves while moving inside the galaxy, it’s faster than the galaxy!

I’ve always wondered how fast I’m moving when I’m sitting still but have been too lazy to do all the math.

I know I’m spinning about 1000 mph East (earth rotation) and the earth goes about 67,000 mph around the sun. Not sure how fast our solar system then galaxy are moving…….
