I’ve noticed a pattern on posts about Mach E windshield failures where no impact damage appears present on this forum. The damage appears to travel from the lower part of the windshield upward appearing to happen on the left side passenger side somewhat near the end of the wiper blade.
For those that have experienced this type of break in their Mach E did this damage occur on a particularly hot or cold day when you got in your car and started to blast your AC or heat?
One of the good features of the car is that the AC cools down pretty quick and effectively; However, I wonder if it’s so effective it’s causing a stress failure in our windshields. Particularly because the damage appears to somewhat consistently occur over the front vents.
any thoughts @Ford Motor Company?
