Anyone had this???

Can't seem to be able to load a video, but wipers go up by half an inch at a time, like something is blocking them

Going to dealer to get this checked tomorrow

Started suddenly on Saturday while driving in the rain!!!!

I had weird things happen to my car last week. Then I noticed I got a new update. Turned it off for 15 minute, all was good.

Here it is...3rd day in a row now!

Car has been turned on and powered off many times since. Recharged once

Could this be linked we receiving 1.7.1 last week??? Dunno but it didn't do this before

When the car is off, you can freely move them by hand. Try and move them up to the full wipe position and see if it meets a lot of resistance, then put them back and try to run them normally. Might help.

Yes can move them freely by hand when car is off or when wipers are running...

They go down back quickly when they go up like in the video and if I play with them a few times by hand they sometimes end up by working normally for a few kilometers and then it starts acting up again

Ok just retried it with car of... And tested them after they work fine "now".. will check in 3 his when I need to take the car or again.

What could cause this???

Update.. Car is at the dealer since yesterday.. They checked everything, motors, electrical current, links.. Everything is pretty specs...

The replaced the wiper blades and told me it could potentially be because I applied RainX on the windshield... That the product makes the wiper blades stock to the surface ...duh!!! Ben using it for 15yrs on all my cars never had any issues with it.

So they replaced the blades and cleaned the glass with alcohol to remove the rain x still on.... Tested it .. Same issue!!!

They now have a call in to Ford engineers to see what could be the cause and solution... I'm picking my car up tonight until they have a call back! Just won't drive it in the rain!!!

 Don't you just love the clueless 'techs' at dealers? What next? They'll replace the windshield?

Lol...

Just got off a call with dealer, seems like Ford engineers told them to order a new wiper motor, comes from the US they have no clue how long it may take.... Hopefully not too long, slush season will be here soon!!!

Nah, they'll just remove it and reinstall it ?

I'm on the recall for the windshield, let me tell you that I will properly take pics and vids of my windshield and body frame around it before I drop it off ... Don't want them to scratch the windshield or the paint around it (and it will show on the paint since I have XPel!!

I've seen it too often that the glass of the paint gets scratched by the tools they use to temive the windshield
