Today my Wireless Carplay Stopped working. I have done a had reset on my car (Volume button and Right Seek button) as well as rebooting my phone. I have also deleted the pairing on my phone with my car. Both my car and Iphone 12 pro max have the latest firmware. I can pair and use bluetooth no problem. I can also use Car Play through USB cable. But wireless carplay does not work. I was on the phone for an hour with Ford and they have no idea why this happenign and told to go to dealership. Any Thoughts anyone?

I figured out there is a second hotsport wifi named "PROjb3e11" that has to have "auto-Join" selected or wireless Carplay will never work. This is a different SSID if you subscribe to AT&T hotspot built into the Mach-E. It took a senior Apple "Genius" to figure this out. Ford tech should be aware of this. You need both a wifi and Bluetooth connection in order for wireless Carplay to work and you will have to manually set the "Auto Join" even after re-pairing the Bluetooth connection.

Wow, I’ve been having this issue for about a year now. Hard to believe it was something as simple as jumping on a strange Wi-Fi that I’ve never heard of. Yeah that seems totally safe.. Yes Ford definitely needs to make this right. At least name the Wi-Fi something that resembles your vehicle.
