I did a mandatory phone as a key update today and now my Apple CarPlay won’t work. Very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it to work again?

Wireless or wired CarPlay? Try wired car play to make sure it works at a minimum. If wireless isn’t working, remove your phone from the phone list in Sync and re-pair.

Wired CarPlay works but wireless doesn’t. I tried removing my phone and reconnecting the phone, but it still doesn’t work wirelessly. Very frustrating because it worked before the update.

Also make sure both Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on the phone, of course. But it's likely that a re-pairing will be necessary.

I did the sync and phone reboot, and repaired the phone and it still does not work unless I plug it in.

I too have this issue and it started before the phone as a key had expired. After last visit to the dealership my wireless carplay sometimes has choppy audio, but the wire works fine. They said it works fine as I just had it in for service and did no software changes this time around. So... have to use the cable.

The Bluetooth and WiFi are on. Very frustrating! It was working fine before the mandatory update!
