Would an off lease 2021 Mach E be a good choice to get into the EV game?

At "a tad over $30K" I'd say it's a great deal, especially since you know the owner and the car's history, plus extended warranty till 2027. If it's under $31K (which to me is a tad over $30K) then it is a screaming deal, for a premium 4X. I wouldn't worry about the windshield and roof recall. I didn't do them on my own car, out of fear that they'll ruin the interior while performing the work.
