I have android Ford 6.4.1. What is the new Ford version number? There is an update for the Ford app. The phone expiring is a result. Follow the instructions to remove and reinstall your phone.
It will also take you to giving a new keypad code. I had problems. It told you to enter your new code. It does not have anyway of going to the next step after entering your new code. I never finished this step.
Why? Why is this necessary? There is an update to the PAAK. If you click that notification it will tell you go to your car with your key fob and go through the process of deleting key and setting up new key and code. It took me 2 Mins to complete.
Did you enter 8 characters for your code? Enter button will not show if you do not have enough characters. I had that problem a long time ago. There is an update for the Ford app. The phone expiring is a result. Follow the instructions to remove and reinstall your phone.

That is my current version. It did not cause my phone to expire. The app just continued working as always. The update that is new to me is v6.4.1.
Also, I entered 8 character codes and 10 digit codes. The enter button did not show at anytime.
I’m on the latest iOS version and have never seen that message. Coming up on 5 years of PAAK use. That is my current version. It did not cause my phone to expire. The app just continued working as always.
@Ford Motor Company has been MIA, so no explanation has been forthcoming.I'm on iOS 26.2 and Ford v6.4.1 -- my PAAK expired as well. The process of removing and re-adding the key completed, but clicked "no" to adding yet another door key code, and just re-used my prior random password.
Why did we have to do this dance? Was there an exploit? Some private key material exfiltrated? Will we ever know? (After I click Save, will I care?)
