Hi Mustang Mach-E owners,
As the Chief Program Engineer for the Mustang Mach-E for the past few years, it’s been my privilege to lead the team that has produced this vehicle. Four years ago, we launched the Mustang Mach-E as a 2021 model year and today I am excited that customer orders for the 2025 model are open. You can head to Ford.com and build yours now.
The 2025 Mustang Mach-E is a continuation of our goal to provide you all with the best possible product. We’ve incorporated a lot of your feedback to address concerns and improve your ownership experience and have been excited to read your responses to what we’ve changed. This includes the heat pump that you’ve been asking for, which improves efficiency in colder climates, as well as the latest version of BlueCruise with Automatic Lane Change and more flexibility in how you can purchase. There’s also a new Premium Sport Appearance Package for those of you who love the look of the Mustang Mach-E GT but prefer the price point and features of Premium.
The team has also made improvements inside the vehicle, including a relocated shift stalk to clear up space in the center console and some refreshed graphics in the instrument cluster. And one of my favorite additions is the now available ventilated seats option on Premium.
We have addressed requests for features that improve the charging experience, so for 2025 we’ve added the capability to set a universal charge limit, schedule preferred charge times at specific locations, and access real-time charging information in vehicle.
You will also now be able to find compatible Tesla Superchargers in the Connected Built-in Navigation system in the MY25 Mustang Mach-E. As a reminder, the locations of compatible Tesla Superchargers are also available when using Google Maps EV Routing for Android Auto, and will be coming to Apple Maps EV Routing for Apple CarPlay.
It's been a journey getting here, so let’s take a moment to appreciate how you all have been living with your Mustang Mach-E over its first four years.
You’re doing a lot more driving than I expected! Here’s to the next four years and thanks for your continued partnership to help make this vehicle even better. What are you most excited for in the future of the Mustang Mach-E?
Now I’ll hand you back to Brian, who manages our account on behalf of Ford, and if you have further questions, we’ll answer what we can.
