Right smack in the middle. I’m in Nassau. There is an EA charging station right off the Belt Pkwy if you’re heading up this way. You may want to check on your in laws. The snow we got this week was no joke. It ripped the gutters off and literally crushed my barbecue.

Wow, that's crazy. I probably won't take the Mach-E up there during Winter... or middle of summer for that matter. Thinking Fall will be its first trip there, after vaccines all around hopefully. Good to know about that EA station off Belt Pkwy, cuz Lvl 1 charging at their house ain't gonna cut it! Our usual route is Goethals -> Verrazzano -> Belt -> Cross Island to LIE to Hicksville. So yeah, Nassau county as well. Funny names of places y'all got up there, but damn is the food amazing! ?

Seems like my Mach-E made it to the Norfolk Southern auto distribution facility in Winston-Salem around midnight last night. Just the wait for a truck to bring it back up to Roanoke now. Hoping it's Jack Cooper so I can maybe see it via palsapp!

RWD story: Was getting mine into the garage the other night, and there was a sweet sheet of ice in the driveway. My garage has a 1.5" lip that you have to drive over. I was pulling up to it slowly and then hitting the "gas" to get over the slip. Car slipped on the ice every time. I had to back up and get enough speed to go up-and-over the lip without stopping (which is fun when your garage is stupidly small).

On the other hand, accelerating around a corner with RWD is pretty fun.

Well the good news is, as a Tesla owner he’ll only have to wait about 2 months to get that repaired

Dealer called this AM to say they expect it to arrive within the next few days, though they don't have means of knowing when it's left Winston-Salem via truck. Generally the truck comes up same day, so Visibility isn't that fast (or reliable for the final leg trucking per the salesperson).

Thanks! Not sure how much sleep I'll get now. My salesperson claims that he's not sure if I'll be able to take delivery tomorrow since they only have a "skeleton crew" in service for pre-delivery. Told him I'd be there when they open regardless....

Not sure if you saw, but mine has officially made it to my dealer! Ford actually noticed me via email and all!
