Big embarrassment on this post, car is fine. Ford had pushed the steering wheel button and turned off LKA. I hadn't touched that button since I bought the car 4 years ago, forgot it existed!

When they were working on the door again today they turned it back on, works great.

Sorry all

No worries we are here some times to learn.

This is why when you call IT when your computer is working they ask the dumb questions first:

“Is it plugged in?”
“Did you push the power button?”
😂

Sadly I have always been one of those people that others call for help, guess I am getting old.

This is hilarious. I just turned in my 21 GTPE on Saturday, having been looking forward to/given up hope for this UI bug being fixed for years.

Ah well, I picked up a new 25 GTPU on Monday night, and it has the same UI. Two days wasn’t quite long enough to start getting the shakes, but I didn’t want to chance it.

Are you referring to the fact that the car is in the middle? Because with my 2025 Premium I see quite a few differences between the 2024 instrument panel (which is like what people are describing as "new" above") and the 2025 Premium's instrument panel, especially is one switches between different driving modes like me and my wife do.

But the car is in the middle and there isn't any way to move it.

I'm just glad they haven't removed the "ground speed" label! Makes me smile every time I notice it 😆

Well... well... well!! As much as we've B&M'd about the steering wheel dash NOT properly displaying the speedometer in the center... to my great surprise upon picking up my '21 MME, there it was! As this has been a chief owner beef for some 4 years now, I'm certain I just missed some other owner's post on this. So... if this is a duplicate, my apologies!! But hey, even though my gal is 4 years old now, she wears a new and proper speedo right up front.

Many thanks to Ford Engineering for stepping up and honoring a commitment to make this display a reality... if not 4 years down the road. Know that this one owner is most appreciative!!

I know. Great news, right. They put the speedo right back where it was at delivery for me. Thanks for listening, guys!

Ah, you’re right. It’s gone back to the old interface, not the new one. I was still sufficiently unfamiliar with the new interface that I missed that detail. Still, nice that it finally got fixed. I missed it, but I did get an extra day of a normally working interface with my 2025, so that makes up for it, right?
