Hi Mustang Mach-E forum folks,

Sharing as an FYI for those of you who know someone on the lookout for a Ford EV, we're extending Ford Power Promise all the way through January 5, 2026 in the United States. Customers that purchase a 2025 model year Mustang Mach-E or 2025 model year F-150 Lightning during this period will be eligible for the benefits.

Let's dive into some of the highlights and updates as they have changed throughout 2025:

Home Charging Made Easy (and Flexible) Customers who purchase or lease a new 2025 F-150 Lightning or Mustang Mach-E from a participating Ford dealer between October 1, 2025, and January 5, 2026 will be eligible for one of two great options...
  1. Complimentary Home Charge Station & Standard Installation: a complimentary home charger and its standard installation (some exclusions apply, like permitting costs and fees). The perfect opportunity to get set up for home charging right from the start.
  2. OR $2,000 Bonus Cash: If a customer prefers, they can opt for $2,000 in bonus cash instead.
What hasn’t changed…
  • 24/7 Live Support: Our dedicated Ford advisors are available 24/7, and Ford Roadside Assistance offers proactive charging support and towing for peace of mind.
  • On-the-Road Charging: Access to the BlueOval Charge Network, including over 20,000 designated Tesla Superchargers (with the Fast Charging Adapter). And, the FordPass App can help owners find and pay for charging along their route.
  • Battery Confidence: Drive with assurance knowing that a Ford EV comes with an 8-year/100k mile high-voltage battery warranty.

Still leaving EVs in the back burner with halfbaked, halfassed software built for ICE cars? Nah thanks. Is enough having me suffer, but not cool also making a friend suffer.

Hello Brian

I purchased 2 Mach-E's in August and opted for 1 charger and 1 cash bonus. Any idea on when we should expect to hear anything about having the charger installed? Dealer had no answers at all.

Thank you

I would like to receive employee pricing to purchase a Ford Connected Charger. Ford's current price just is not cost competitive.

Did the bonus cash increase to $2,000? That's probably the better deal unless your install is more complex. You can get a ChargePoint for $550, which leaves about $1,500 for the install. If you can get an install done for less than $1,500, then you come out ahead.

I will say that some of the permit and extra fees being charged by Qmerit electricians are getting out of hand. You may be better off contracting it yourself to avoid extra unexpected fees.

My NJ power company gave me 1500 bucks toward the charger and install plus 2 cents off a kwH. I would take the $2k from Ford and reject their charger while checking for incentives from your power company.

Co-worker just picked up a '25 Premium MME and got BOTH $2K and the charger installation because the dealership wanted to unload their EVs before end of the month.

Now my department has 2 Mach E along with 5 Teslas and 1 BMW i5.

Just personal preference to stay with a Ford product. I probably need to get over that. ;)
Ford family my entire life as dad was a Ford employee at the Milpitas, CA assembly plant.

Especially if your power company has any incentives on EVSE purchases. I have the Emporia Pro with connected load management (reduces charging speed if load is nearing my panel limit to a minimum threshold, only shuts off charging if absolutely necessary). It cost $599 but I got $200 back from Georgia Power.

It is not a Ford product, except for the label. Overpriced, and lacking features of other intelligent chargers.

Current cash bonus is $2,000. So, depends on what the customer wants/needs!

Do you mean the Tourneo? Looks like that is a UK vehicle, but don't disagree with you assessment that a battery electric van would fit a niche.

I do think Ford's limited EV lineup and evolution has been practical, i.e. A truck that fits home and work functionality; An SUV that fits home and family - OK even a single person - functionality; A transit van that fits local delivery, contractor's tools and equipment. Next is the small work truck built on a frame that can easily accommodate other functions. Maybe a small van is part of that mix.
