Will ford update 21-24 mach e dashboard to 2025 UI

ford please！i really like the 25 version dashboard, please tell me there's an update for 21-24 select /premium/GT

That's a lot of miles for a 25. But I am on track for that as well. Between work and being fun to drive and then being able to pick up the slack by almost driving itself, the miles are adding up

I do want the speedometer centering when lane keeping is off of the previous versions, which for me is rare, but still. And which does not seem possible on the 25s, so be careful what you wish for

I went from a 2024 to a 2025 and I’m loving the dash panel changes.

Note it might not please everyone since the car is there in every mode with the speed off to the right, but it is also much more consistent. Things don’t jump around based on different modes and everything is “available” like the brake coach in all driving modes.

yea I really like the 25 version dashboard, but I mean this just an UI/wallpaper, the mach e should be able to choose different dashboard theme

I sure hope if they do add it that the 25 UI is entirely optional. I vastly prefer the 24s current UI when all the assistance is turned off.

Ford has announced that 2021 - 2024 owners will be able to purchase an upgraded dashboard for $29.95. Produced in partnership with Colorforms, this kit will give owners the upgrade they desire.

This will not happen. The 2025 model has a stalk shifter instead of the wheel, so it won't make any sense to bring the 2025 shifter graphic to earlier models.

You could argue they might change it to the wheel graphic and keep everything else new, but I doubt that would pass the accountants cost-benefit analysis.

Also remember the 2025 model has new hardware for BC 1.5 which does auto-lane changes, so I'm confident they'll fragment updates from pre and post 2025 models. Just easier to split software at a hardware change.

It’s nice to have the IPC, period (unlike say the Model Y) but let’s face facts: the layout - both old and new - is pretty sparse and lame. The car graphic is somewhat useful when Hands Free BlueCruise is engaged, but otherwise it’s mostly useless and just looks stale and dated. Ton of dead space. Not customizable. My 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid had a far more dynamic IPC!

This is why CarPlay Ultra would be so cool. Ford is never gonna compete with Apple (or Google, etc.) when it comes to UI design.

I really don't care about the layout as long as everything is visible. (Which is why I find the gear select here worthless -- it's mostly blocked by my steering wheel.)

Add something new and useful, like battery charge/discharge rate, battery temp, LVB SOC, etc.

I got the recall fix, and the speedometer is centered now.

I was slowly scrolling, saw the school, and thought "wow, that's definitely in Southern Ontario." then saw you're in km, then checked your profile info. lol Hello fellow Ontarian.

i mean these information can shows on the dashboard when using unbridled mode, that is definitely cool
