Just tried this and keep getting an incompatible configuration error message when I try to write the PSCM module as shown in the write-up.

Anyone have any ideas? I did confirm that my 2023 Mach-E Premium has the lPMA part number starting with P.
When you click write, don’t click on write all, instead, click on the one next to the line you’re editing.

May I ask what type of OBD dongle you have been using?
It must not be related, but I remember discussions where people also suffered from FORScan issues when using an OBD adapter that did not support all kind of CAN protocols.

It looks that issue of pscm, or something like that, because I used UCDS adapter, which can also works with FDRS, that means, that adapter is good, and I also have this issue with mine, but forscan override parameter

@Dynamo, thanks for the DM. As you mentioned, the new values for the PSCM did write even though FORscan threw an error message.

It looks like the activation procedure worked! I haven't yet tried park assist, but all the side proximity sensors lit up when I pulled into my narrow parking spot.

Very cool that those of us with the chip are able to turn this feature on! Admittedly, I'll probably rarely use park assist, but it's nice to have anyway.

This is very cool indeed.

I had at one point checked out to see if there was a way to enable the side sensors by replacing the IPMA module. Once I found out how expensive it was, I quickly dropped that idea. Who knew a thread like this and @Dynamo's tenacity was all that was needed?

After I find info about chip in IPMA (on f150 forum) I told to myself, that will finish it (in public there are no any info about configurationin Forscan for those vehicles at that moment). After I start searching VIN's with APA, to my surprise, I saw that EU vehicles, 2023 still have auto-parking, but the most interesting thing is that I did not find any mention of it in the official Ford brochures, I was able to find Polish and UK, but not a word about APA, while functionally it was definitely included, I found several VINs and it was there. Ok, I thought, I need to find out what Part number for the IPMA module, when I saw the P/N of the European module, I was surprised, because the last 1-2 characters were different, and the hardware number was identical to mine. I was told that it is unlikely that, having the same hardware numbers, the modules will differ in any way, so potentially, the chip should be present in the P modules. Although, to tell the truth, at that time I had already ordered a chip for myself, because I was ready to solder it (not myself, but take it to the master), then, I finally got the car, I was able to get to the module and see that I have a chip. At that time, I had already prepared all the changes according to As built, although I managed to implement from the second time.

Just FYI that I got a "blocked sensor" (I can't remember the exact error message) error sometimes when pulling into a parking garage space that was right next to a concrete wall. I suspect it was a bug that was caused by the side sensors not detecting any movement on the wall side of the parking space. IDK. Just something to be aware of in case you see this error now after enabling those sensors.

you can try
APIM
7D0-08-01
xxxx-xxx9-xx

IPMA
706-02-01
xxxx-xxxx-8x

If it doesn't work, in addition, add
APIM
7D0-08-01
Exxx-xxxx-xx

PS don't forget to save your current as built
PS2 after writing data to APIM - restart Sync a few times
Can you clarify the position of the number to change? The xx's don't match what I'm seeing below in IPMA & APIM. Thx!

Hi there, I have tried to do steps you mentioned, unfortunately ForScan showing that here is incorrect value for PSCM
730-03-01 xxFF xxxx xx--

I have skipped that step, the APA icon started showing on display and I have tried to make vehicle park, when starting parking after I switch to N and released brake pedal it is showing an error on displays and exit park assist.

Tried these on an "L" IPMA and side sensors don't activate unfortunately. Thanks anyway.

You only need to change the “FF”.
the last two “-“ are just extra.

Hello, got the same issue, but if you check, you will see thst parameter was overrided, if not try again, but I also saw this error, IDK what the problem, but looks, that forscan override for that block despite of the error
Just click ok and parameters will be writed
Seems that issue from ford side

Tried these on an "L" IPMA and side sensors don't activate unfortunately. Thanks anyway.
Sad 😔
Did you try reset APIM a few times and drive after?
