With 60 miles on the MMe FE, I decided to take a trip from Ann Arbor to Mt Pleasant.
- Temp - started at 16 degrees and is now 25 as I sit charging
- Speed - Set the cruise at 75 mph (trip was almost 100% highway)
- MMe went 168 miles, and the charge state went from 90% to 12%
- Trip notes efficiency as 2.3 mi/kWh
- I’m posting this as I wait for the car to charge. This ChargePoint station is charging at 56.6 kw , and upon plug-in the MMe informed me that to go from 12% to 80% will take from 11:27 to 12:39
- Comfort - super comfortable drive with sole exception of roof wind noise above 45mph (when it warms up, the leading edge/gap is getting some silicone)
- help - I’m learning the car and loved the cruise with lane centering (new option for me), but I don’t understand the difference between “Adaptive” and “Intelligent”

Intelligent let’s you set the speed to a certain amount above or below the speed limit instead of an absolute value. This is very handy when driving through towns with the speed limit always changing.

Intelligent will recognize speed signs and adjust speed consequently.

Keep hearing about this wind noise from the glass misalignment. Wonder what’s up with that

Some cars might have a larger gap/height than others. Someone on the forum put tape across his gap and the noise dissipated. Another person worked at a Volvo dealership and said when customers complained, they used a particular brand of sealer. Accordingly, I’m not going to worry about it and I’ll seal it myself if need be...

Thanks for the write up. That’s a drive I’ve done more than once myself, so it’s good to know what kind of range and efficiency I would be in for.
