LOL I do agree. However, I have found those Dots and Mini Google's to be great gifts when you're in a bind.

The problem is most of their free deals to get you to stay are the Select package, not All Access. If the reason you're getting it is for Stern, that would be a problem.

Its funny because I feel like Stern is the biggest sell they have. Also why they pay him large amounts of money to stay put. If it wasn't for Stern, that company would not have survived.

If for some reason you don't lock in on the promo. Use their online chat feature and let them know you'd like the All-Access for that price. This company is bleeding for customers that are leaving for alternative options. They are very flexible in pricing these days. Way more than they have ever been.

I'm on that right now he just asked for screenshot showing the price. I sent it said he is going to take care of it for me. For 5 dollar why not might be handy. but for a full price no way.

So got the all-access for 60.00 for 12 months and I asked for the echo, he said no it's a different promo. then I said nevermind and after a wait, he said ok. I won't use the echo but maybe a free gift for someone in the family.

when her's is up and ask for the $5.00 promo ?? Is this something they

They always have promos, but not necessarily the $5 for All Access one.

I tried to "upgrade" via the website. I tried using my VIN, and it said it couldn't look it up. So I got the Radio ID as listed in the SYNC screen. It said there was already an account to call them to change my plan. I hate calling, so I started an online chat. She said if I wanted the deal with the Echo Dot, I'd have to do it myself. She helped me create an account tied to my radio ID so I could get the special.

But when I logged into that it account and looked at my radio ID this is what it shows:

I've been using SiriusXm to test out and see if I wanted to subscribe. It seems like I have all the channels and I don't get any warnings or messages that it is a trial or anything. Looking at the info they have, I may be good to go until Nov. 2022. When I try to get the promo, it says I have to cancel my demo plan plus the Traffic and Travel stuff.

Am I missing something? Should I just leave it alone and keep using the demo?

I found that once the radio refreshed in the Mach-E, it changed the subscription type from "Demo" to "All-Access" - it's in the SiriusXM radio settings at the top of the screen. There's even a button to theoretically manage your account that appears to be loading an embedded web browser, but for now it just shows a phone number and some boilerplate text, not an actual account management screen.

I think it didn't really refresh the subscription listed for me until overnight for some reason. The channels refreshed immediately on a refresh but the subscription name didn't.

Completely on me for not being clear about that delay.

The deal they put up today is $5/mo for Select (and a free Echo Dot). But the previous deal, which technically doesn't expire until the end of today was $5/mo for All Access, which is their highest level.

Mine showed up in my account online right after I added it.

yeah I'd rather All Access than the Dot given the choice. You can get a Dot for $30 or less, so from a value viewpoint to me the All Access makes more sense, unless you really want a Dot.

It did take a little while for the subscription management page on the SXM site to show the new plans and expiration dates for me, but they are there now.
