Hi all,
1 week of ownership and I love the MME

I have two questions maybe someone can help out with:

1. Is there a way to disable the dinging when you shut off the car and then open the door? This stays dinging… is it something I’m leaving on?

2. charge settings conflict- showing a higher percentage then I currently have, but I’m not even plugged in.

Appreciate any help

For #1, check to make sure your headlight switch is not in the on position.
For #2, I'm not sure exactly what you mean. The charge settings tell your car when to charge, and to what %. So they should be higher than your current SOC when you're not plugged in.

Okay, I’m pretty positive that they weren’t in the on position but in the “A”…. But that fixed that, haha!

for 2. It says “estimated charge by next departure time: 67.5% ….. however, 1 I’m not plugged in and 2 the only scheduled departures I have are over 13 hours from now and the charge screen even shows that if I start charging now, I’ll be to my 85% by midnight.

weird

Are you talking about the charge settings on the screen in the car, or in the FordPass app?

The charge settings in the car. And for reference it said that, but I only have 48% right now. So it’s assuming I’m charging? But assuming I’m going to charge it slower than I will? Or assuming I’m leaving prior to my scheduled departure?

They are the same thing. When FordPass works, setting the % in the app gets applied to the car.

Can you post a pic of the screen? That might shed some light on the subject.

When it works being the key part of that sentence. There have been reports of things not displaying correctly in v3.25.

I get that message every time I pull up to a charging location where I set the %, even though it's set to charge 24X7.

Yeah there seems to be a bug in there for that. It always seems to think it doesn't have enough time to charge in order to precondition.

I solved it by: 1) being in a pandemic which means I'm working from home which means 2) I turned off scheduled departures.

Sure so the first pic is the message I get, the second is showing you my “charge” screen in settings. And third is the scheduled charging just to show you that:

Haha! I’m okay with it being a bug but being new I figured it was just me. Glad to know I’m not that dumb..

Actually I just changed the charging in my car to charge anytime from 90% down to 85% and the change is reflected in the app already so maybe they’re doing better there

So based on the second pic, the first screen makes sense. It thinks you won't hit your charge target till Thursday, but your departure is set for Wednesday. I would hope it figures things out once you actually plug in. ?‍♀

Ahhh! I didn’t even notice it says I won’t be 85% until Thursday! Maybe it still thinks I only have the 110

either way I appreciate the help everyone, and yea I guess I had the headlights on and not on automatic ??‍♂ That’s one thing solved
