This week I put 691 miles on my Mach-E. I charged it to 100% at home before I started.
First let's look at the EPA estimates.
AWD ER 270 Rated
Home charging 7 KW L2 rate is $0.05 per kWh
88 X $0.005 = $4.40 (0 to 100%)
$4.40 / 270 = $0.016 per mile.
On the road my rate is $0.31 per kWh (EA Pass+).
88 x $0.31 = $27.20 (0 to 80%)
$27.20 / 270 = $0.10 per mile.
Now the real results and costs.
Route 1 - 218 miles. Arrived 26% - Fast Charge from 26% to 80% ($17.09)
Route 2 - 50 miles. Arrived 75% - No charging.
Route 3 - 107 miles. Arrived 34% - Fast Charge from 34% to 80% ($11.18)
Route 4 - 153 miles. Arrived 20% - L2 charged from 20% to 100%. ($3.52)
Route 5 - 81.5 - Arrived 60% No charging.
Route 6 81.5 - Arrived 30% - L2 charged from 30% to 95% ($2.80)
Total Miles: 691
Combine average speed: 68 MPH
Total cost: $34.59
Cost per mile average: $0.05
