I didn't mind waiting for the car because that was my understanding when I reserved it. I was expecting to get it around thanksgiving. However, now things are starting to stack up against the people in this thread and it's annoying. We're getting the last of the 2021. The people who ordered after us will get slightly more range, $750 credit and they'll no doubt send those out before we get our chips. We've also got to wait an entire year for our tax rebate. (self congratulations to me for not cursing over and over on this post). PS if you're going to comment anything but "I hear you" go kick rocks.
Exactly my thoughts! I am going to lose my sanity over this soon! My tracker still shows ETA of 11/23!!!!!! It has NOT MOVED or has anything change on the tracker page since 10/05!

My dealer called yesterday and said they expected to have my car sometime between 1/11-1/17. However, when checking the tracker it still shows "in production " since 12/10 (originally 11/15 and eventually moving to 12/10) and window sticker that was available has now disappeared saying it is not yet available for this vehicle.
I also didn't expect to see a car for 6 or 7 months (ordered/confirmed 5/28) but did expect Ford and the dealer to give reasonable, and to the degree possible, updates. Ford continually drops the ball on customer relations and service. It makes me wonder if they are just a bit over their heads in production of full electric vehicles and doesn't give me any confidence in the car I will eventually receive. This will be my first American brand car purchase in many years since giving up on their quality and style some time ago. Hope it's not a mistake.
Anyway, sorry for the long rant but I to am at the end of my rope.

I'm feeling the same today but extra annoyed as I see many people's estimated delivery dates well ahead of mine (2/14 after being scheduled for a 12/6 build and having the tracker show a 12/14 in production date with no movement since then). I'm at 6 months since order and rolling into a new year with no real communication from Ford or my dealer.

11/23?

look, we all should have expected a flux capacitor shortage…
(But seriously, yeah, I’m running out of jokes to mask my frustration.)

My order tracker finally come up - delivery date is TBD. Still. Fun times.

Agree with you, frustrating (although happy for them) seeing people in the subsequent build week getting shipped notifications too. The entire ordering process has been a shambles. At least seeing other people in the same boat helps with the frustration a little.

My understanding was that 2021 cars had to be "built" in 2021, or be classified as 2022 - but we have 2021 VINs. Where does chip hold stand with that, does anyone know?

Yeah, I have been for a while now. The only place I can pull my sticker from is from the seg tracker as well.
yes that's my case too. I had the sticker working on the ford website but now only works in the seg website.
My dealer said on Friday my VVR shows Secondary status as Sent offsite and ETA Disposition shows Manual Adjusted. I am no longer motivated to keep bugging my sales guy since he has been pretty good in dealing with my persistent questions. want to leave him alone for the holidays.

Yikes, and you have a 2021 ordered? What's the projected build start date on this page? https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=<your-8-digit-reservation-id> (reservation ID is also mislabeled order ID in that page, once it loads).
I had a sticker from 12/03 and my in production date is 12/11 and its in same status on the ford tracker. however the ETA on ford website is 12/31 since the sticker disappeared!! which is 100% a glitch of some sort.

This will be my first American brand car that I have purchased new for some time. I own a Driving School and we usually purchase at least 1-2 cars every year. The last Ford I had purchased was a 2012 Ford Focus. That was quite possibly the worst car that I have ever had. I swore that I would never buy a Ford again but the MME has won numerous awards and I went ahead and pulled the trigger and put down a deposit back in mid November. I currently own 5 Toyota's and have real good luck with them.

I realize that this is going to be a Journey but my trust in Ford for build quality is not held at a high standard because of past products that were sub par. If the MME turns out like the Focus, this will be the death knell for me and Ford.

Hopefully they have improved on the MME but only time will tell.

Thanks for you insights.

I agree. The waiting was to be expected. But the waiting would be a whole hell of a lot more tolerable if the production order weren't apparently random, if there was some predictability to the process, if the tracking system didn't break down every other day, and most of all, if there were even a little bit of communication from Ford!

OK, we're in the same place, except I can still get my window sticker: My original build date was 12/6, it appears to have actually started 12/11 per the tracker page (if that's to be believed), status is still in production and a projected delivery date of 12/31/21.

The only way they could make that date is airlifting it to my house. Assuming they can finish building it a day or so ahead of takeoff.

Same except my projected delivery date still says 1/20/22.

I spoke to my dealership today and they said the car was actually built despite what the tracker was saying ("In Production") and it was in transit. No idea who to believe now, I guess the waiting game continues. Projected delivery date still 1/31

Just got my built & shipped emails today. Built 12/20, expected delivery 2/2-2/8.
Put my deposit down on 8/8, so expected delivery is 6 months out, which was about where Ford was projecting way back when (24 weeks, IIRC).

Fingers crossed that there are no more delays introduced....

Thanks to all of you who are in this same build batch.

What/how do I track my Mach-E on the way up from Mexico to Boston? Thanks.

The Ford Order Tracking site shows a 12/8 production date for my order and that it remains in Production. Today the site updated the Estimated Delivery date, moving it from 1/22 to 2/3, which is 2 days short of 9 months after my order was accepted. Premium AWD ER DMG
