Latest UK Power Up

Hi has anyone got a Power Up version later than 1.6 in the UK. Excluding cars delivered this year that came with a newer version from the factory?

Some have 1.7.1, but they may have been dealer install, some got it OTA but I heard that Ford stopped deploying it as it caused issues with some cars. Apparently there’s a fix coming but when that will be is unknown, Ford aren’t very open about the issue.

It is frustrating here in the UK when you hear USA owners talking about 2.4.2 and 2.4.3, while most of us are stuck on 1.4 or 1.6 or 1.7.1!

I got 2.1 OTA, and then 2.3 came OTA a few days later but failed like my original 1.7.1 did. Just to clarify my car is an early build Job 1 vehicle from Dec 2020.

I know of at least two successful OTA 2.3 installs in the UK

Mine went in for 'AWD Fault & Updates' on picking the car up the front of office said all done except one failed update which in their words I would have to pay for because it needed a hardware component changed (APIM?).

He didnt have any other info & since a lot of the time we have more info from elsewhere so left it at that, at least till Ford have the APIM fix in place so I can move off Power Up V1.6 I will then query it again. The question is has anyone else been given the same answer by a dealer.

More Ford untruths. I'm on 2.3 and I'm definitely in the UK although I suppose that is not classed as EU these days.

Although a German job 1 youtuber was OTA updated to 2.x . So, updates are applied specifically.... (criteria unknown)

My point exactly, One hand of Ford is saying one thing while being unaware of what the other is doing.

Mine was serviced yesterday and the only update they didn't do was 1.7.1 (a guru on here checked for me).

what does service involve? is software update part of it? also, i think your MME must be one of the highest mileage ones in UK
