What issues did you have?
Same as everybody else; software was stuck and did not update to Startup version 1.7.1. All future updates failed to install. Had TSB 22-2117 done Tuesday and now (supposedly) my car is "fixed" and can receive updates. I haven't received any yet though.

Really looking forward to getting my BlueCruise today! I already have my first BlueCruise trip planned for tomorrow! Taking a Tesla fanboy buddy for a ride to show him “how it’s done”!
Can’t wait!
?
is this confirmed?

Ahh ok. That’s good you’re past the 1.7.1 debacle.

It mentioned the dealer could install Blue Cruise in that note too. Did you get those updates?

Just got an email from Ford customer relations stating that because I am an early-access customer, that I need to take my vehicle to the dealer for the TSB AND BlueCruise. Funny, my car has been at the dealer for 9 days now getting software updates. I told the dealer to keep the car and get everything updated. They just said that the APIM update (stuck on 1.7.1) wasn't successful after two hours.

No I didn't get Blue Cruise because I didn't know it was available (I don't think it was available Tuesday). They also didn't update all the Startup updates that I have missed since this problem began months ago. That would have taken hours and it just wasn't done. Supposedly, with time, I will receive those updates.

Did they have the necessary adapters and cables? Was the FDRS version 31 or higher?

They require 2 cables and two adapters. It's all spelled out in the TSB.
EDIT: I purchased all the necessary equipment from Amazon: Monoprice 10' USB 2.0 A male to male cable; Electop pkg of 2 mini B 5 pin female adapters; Trendnet USB 2.0 to fast Ethernet Adapter.

10' of Ethernet cable (mine was from a Comcast piece of Cat 5 cable I believe) any source is OK.

Do you know what the latest version of FDRS they should be using?

I don't think they can push BC at the dealership yet and don't think they are required to do so. It takes 7 consecutive days of OTA updates.

It's on TSB 22-2117. I don't have the TSB in front of me but I think it said version 31 or higher for FDRS. Check the official TSB to be sure though.
EDIT: FDRS version R31 or higher

My last update for 2.5.3 is waiting for me to take the car out for a spin. Then, I'll be ready to go.

I didn't get that email, but probably because I was up to 2.4.2 before stalling out last week. That email must be for the really unlucky guys who couldn't even get 1.7. How you guys have been able to live without Tiles is beyond me. Thoughts and Prayers, brothers, Ts&Ps.

The 'ship has now apparently installed BC in my car and also wanted my consent to add tokens. Fine by me. I love being a test subject if it means actually getting stuff early. Well, and by early I mean... you know what I mean.

Sounds like you have a top notch dealer ?. I'm sorry
Stories like these (and personal experiences) make me wonder; when will the first independent EV 'repair' shops come along? Someone with a VCM2, FDRS, etc who actually knows and takes pride in what they're doing will be miles ahead of an awful lot of dealers, even moreso if they become proficient in different manufacturers. Would they still get to call whomever at Ford engineering for the outliers who run into update issues or other unpredictable FDRS failures, etc? Is that a feasible business model to do this while leaving the high-complexity stuff (like issues that require dropping the HVB, actual physical model replacements) to the Ford dealers that have the equipment, mechanical expertise? Just wondering out loud.
