Based on what we heard this morning and ten days of nothing, I set up an appointment for the glass work and BC install for Monday.

After seeing some of folks have new updates I just checked and saw 2.4.3 was pending.

So, I went out and hit Update now, turned off the lights, and put on the brake. Half hour later, 2.4.3 installed.

Is the escalator moving after all?

I just updated my entry on the poll.

I just got 2.5.3 but don't have BlueCruise. I guess it skipped 2.5.2?
The patch notes for 2.5.2 don’t mention BlueCruise, but it’s there.

Make sure all the various Adaptive cruise control settings are on.

Received 2.4.2 this afternoon. The update installed with no issues. Did notice that 1 pedal was turned off, car charged to 100% when it should have only gone to 90%, Had to turn off asking about Motion Sensors when it was turned off before the update. Once I reset all those settings back to what I had them set before the update all is fine with the car.

One issue I’ve noticed is that FordPass and the Ford owner dashboard will not update with the current information from the car. Shows the information from the car as of the time the 2.4.2 data was downloaded and ready to update. Any thoughts on this?

I am in EA for BC.

The systems will eventually sync. You might have to start and run your car for a little while…. Not a sure solution but seemed to have done the trick for me and perhaps a few others

Magic happened today: unexpectedly 2.4.2 came through.
Escalator of Life is moving again
And the Escalator od Life just lurched again. This morning’s cheery FordPass message was 2.4.3 failed. Nothing you can do but wait.
I suspect they don’t work saturdays ?

Holding my breath here. Still waiting since 2.4.2 failed 10 days ago. I’m EA but usually see motion a few days after the first EA go. I did click through on the EA email after the failure and got a reply. Apparently I’m in the EAP second wave (next 500). Those of you getting updates first appear to be in the first 500 nationally.

Priority: Low EAP 2nd Wave (Next 500) - Failed 2.4.2 Update

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the Early Access Program. We have received your ticket and are investigating currently, but have not retriggered the update yet.

Thanks!

My MME was built a year ago this month and I am not in EA. I have the ability to use FDRS if I want to pay to renew the license, but I shouldn't need to on a car that was sold with all the hardware and ability to support BlueCruise and OTA. Both were heavily marketed by Ford for the Mach-E. But Job 1 is not!

It is a shame so many others are in the same situation. We were sold a promise and an expectation on a contract. So far @Ford Motor Company has not delivered by any standards. The minuscule OTA roll-outs have been a joke. BlueCruise is delayed again and we have no expected date. (End of Q2 is not a date. It is another paper goal so shut everyone up.)

There is so much potential in the hardware that Ford is pissing away because of "reasons". Maybe if there was better customer communication I would have a different view right now, but Ford is being left in the dust software-wise by Chevy and GM. And they don't have a dedicated EV company like Ford Model E.

I can only hope that something improves before my warranty expires, but I have my doubts.

I was pretty shocked nobody caught a few days ago I posted Q5 2022 for the BlueCruise target. How many quarters make up the fiscal year? Why isn't called Quarter (1/4)? In other words I no longer care what Ford promises. I have my doubts it will happen for anyone outside of EA unless you pay for FDRS or have a dealer that is willing to commit 8 hours to update your car for you. My dealer is not.

Just received an alert in the FordPass App that 2.4.5 installed successfully (this one seems to have happened in the background as there was no downtime), so it seems the escalator is still active as long as no updates fail…
