Same boat and time frame as my early job 1. Oct 20 build date. I expect we will get 5.1.1 this coming week.

The update sequence seems to be all over the board. I just got 4.2.5 for my Oct 20 job 1 select AWD. Say's it's for heater and antifogging.

I am still way behind.... getting incrementals only occasionally even though I have auto-downloads set to check every night.

@Ford Motor Company , it is pretty disappointing that the system takes so long to cycle thru, and then only does an incremental rather than a big batch to get caught up to current. It points to a bandwidth problem if the servers can cycle through only once ever couple weeks, and it points to release management problems if there are no 'multiple batched update packs' to get people caught up.

7/27/23 - 3.5.3 , included Alexa
8/2/23 - 3.5.3.3, prep for video streaming on console w Connected service plan or wi-fi
8/4/23 - 3.5.4, added dual phone, climate control UI enhancmeents, digital manual, etc
8/9/23 - 4.2.1 nothing specific listed in release notes
8/17/23 - 4.2.2 games, sync screen, and volume knob temp control
9/8/23 - 4.2.3 wifi auto-connect enhancements

look's like I'm in the "Q" Got 4.2.6 today. Got 4.2.5 two days ago. Not looking forward to a possible charging reduction as I'm doing a trip at the end of the month.

This is weird. I got 4.2.6 Sunday and 4.3.6 today.
But hey, the frunk button now works in Ford Pass. As yet I don't see it on the screen in the car though. Only 2.5 years from when it was promised. But I'm happy.

I've gotten a burst of updates.... and now thinking of stopping auto-updates until something substantial shows up that I want:


7/1/23 - turned on auto-update for PowerUp
7/18/23 - updated to 3.5.2
7/27/23 - 3.5.3 , included Alexa
8/2/23 - 3.5.3.3, prep for video streaming on console w Connected service plan or wi-fi
8/4/23 - 3.5.4, added dual phone, climate control UI enhancmeents, digital manual, etc
8/9/23 - 4.2.1 nothing specific listed in release notes
8/17/23 - 4.2.2 games, sync screen, and volume knob temp control

I would not recommend that. You have a few to go before you're at today's point. Like 4.3.6 and 5.1.1. It does seem that they change the HVAC system semi-annually for the seasons and for economy and safety. Like window fogging. What they publish is not all that are in the updates. I seems that they use a lot of cut and paste for that.

my HVAC is working fine.... and I don't use or care about blue cruise, so what is in these last two that is 'significant' ?

I actually do NOT want a Frunk 'open' button in FordPass... seems like a potential safety issue to me.

one could argue disableing auto updates is also a safety issue. At some point some car will be hacked, and hackers able to crash or disable cars, and manufactures will release a quick patch to close that, similar to phones/laptops.

Personally I want my tech software to remain up to date.
