They will only be compatible if they give you the right sensors. It has to be a specific frequency, and even then it has to be a specific type. Just because they match the frequency doesn't mean it will work. Using the specified Ford part number ensures it will.

Agree With this comment. I bought ones I thought were Ford and were the correct part number. when received they were “geartronic” China brand when I saw the box.

They read once the tire was on the car and no more. Caused a TPMS fault. Stick with OEM Ford or program your Own name brand ones. I spent $199 here and got a great TPMS programming tool that I can program sensors and when I rotate the tires I can recalibrate. Also any other car.

The tool alone is $199….they sell the whole kit for that with 4 premium name brand sensors. https://www.tpms.com/ATEQ-Schrader-or-HUF-Intellisens-TPMS-Relearn-Kit-p/vt37-start.htm

good luck!

Shouldn't take more than a few minutes while driving.
Correct. If yours is not reading after 10-20-30 miles max, the sensors may be incorrect or defective like my experience.

So the initial problem was is they didn’t unlock the sensors. after the sensors were unlocked it gave them a code but my car would not recognize them no matter how far I drove. I ended up going in and getting the original sensors code cloned Off the old tires and pasted The original code into the new sensors and now the car sees them.

Thanks for the update. I have a set of programmable ones I will be cloning on my Route 1 wheels soon. Going to do a range test Route 1 VS Premium Wheels.

Doing that now no impact yet under 50mph. I feel the major impact will be 5-10% from there. We will see

BTW the cloning and Schraeder EZ sensors worked great! Highly recommended.

My aftermarket wheels came with Purple Max Dual Frequency sensors preinstalled & they worked with my MME flawlessly. When I was done putting the wheels on it was already pretty late at night so I let the car sit overnight. Next day I added a few pounds of air to each tire (they came a little low), started the car up expecting it to throw a fit over the new wheels & nothing. No drama, car acted as if nothing changed. I was pleasantly surprised.
