BlueCruise going out OTA to regular plebs (non-EA owners)!

I remember back several months ago when people were getting 2.4.X updates (oh so long ago...) There was several cases where people who had the "software calibration" update skipped 2.4.2 since the module was already updated.

Any insight, educated guesses or uneducated guesses on if this applies to 2.7.2 now?

It's been several days since I got the 2.7.1 and I'm wondering if I'll skip to 2.7.3 or still need a 2.7.2...

I already had the service bulletin from the dealer with the better charge curve and now have 2.7.2

I'm not an Earky Access member and I just got 2.7.1 today while sitting at a public charger. Last week I got 2.6.0 while also sitting at the charger.

For context I'm in Canada ?? and I charge exclusively via public charging about once per week. I assume the updates tend to come through when I'm charging because my drives tend to be short trips of 15 min or so dropping kids off at school, and I assume the vehicle goes to sleep when I park and it's not plugged in since I have no way to do so in a condo.

Really looking forward to the next 2.7.2 update which should bring the new charge curve via the OTA update according to Wikipedia.

I'll report back if I get 2.7.2 next week, and confirm if charge curve and "breaking feel" has indeed been updated OTA.

Fellow Canadian here and I just saw that 2.6.0 was pushed to my Mach-E and my father-in-law's Mach-E.

I have my updates set to install at 1:00am nightly, so I will know tomorrow morning if it actually installs correctly.

Really looking forward to finally getting BC and seeing what other pending updates they have scheduled for the Mach-E.

Maybe, but 2.3.0 and 2.6.0 were sync updates I thought, so only one module impacted.

Yeah it’s weird, first time I’ve had failed update, maybe it was the cell service around here, last time I drove down an area with better cell coverage to get it download hmm

yes I went from 2.3 to 2.6

If 2.6.0 is just a tweaked 2.3.0 that was the first update to do 2 modules at once. APIM (Sync) and TCU I believe.

I was debating whether to. bring my MME to the dealer to get Blue Cruise updates.....seeing this activity makes me think the OTA is just around the corner so I'll wait.

Interesting. After Jan/Feb OTA 2.30 pushes all failed, the dealer installed it, and there hasn't been another OTA push since then per the widget...until today (2.60), which has now also failed. I've also since determined (thanks to someone on this forum) that the dealer didn't update the second half of 21P22 when I brought it in for that.

I'm hoping one has something to do with the other because fortunately I have an appointment tomorrow to finally complete 21P22 and install BC. The OTAs not working is really frustrating because it's a PITA to go to the dealer each time.
