I bought my Mach E upstate, so I don’t have a local dealership. I’ve read that with the Mach E being so new, some of the dealerships aren’t great with service.

Does anyone have a good Ford Service Department I can bring mine to?

Ford in lynbrook. Ford in Hempstead won’t service it if you didn’t buy it there. Ford of wantagh gave me a service date 5 weeks out which I think was because I didn’t buy it from there.

I bought 2 fords from Lynbrook when I lived close to them, but I’m about 45 mins east from there.

This is yet another thing that sucks about stealerships. Ford of Y - Not going service the car you bought from Ford of X...or we are going to make you wait...what BS. What if I moved...or I am visiting someone out of town, on vacation somwhere, etc. and need service?

I am actually buying my Mach E from Ford of Hempstead becuase of the shennanigans Ford of Smithtown was pulling. Someone else on the forum recommended a dealer at Ford of Hempstead and he has been great so far. I live in Smithtown however and plan to use the service there since it is closer, so they better not pull this crap.

Smithtown Ford is the worst. They are scummy sales people. The service department is just as bad. It’s worth it to go somewhere else. I would not bring my Mach E there.

Smithtown Ford is the worst. They are scummy sales people. The service department is just as bad. It’s worth it to go somewhere else. I would not bring my Mach E there.
Thanks - they used to be good at one point but seem to have gone way down hill. Any recommendations for Western Suffolk? Hopefully I don't need to bring it in very often and can use the mechanic I trust near me for inspections or tire work.

I’m in the same boat, I recently moved out here and don’t know many of the local dealerships. The guys in Bayshore where nice when I was looking for my Mach E and the Huntington Service took care of my Escape when I first moved here with no issue.

Anyone able to find good service to get the CSP recall / update done. I heard many dealerships struggling with these software updates.
I’m in Levittown and was hoping I find someone close by.

Hi all - live in Rockville Centre, bought at Hassett Ford in Wantaugh. They were typical dealer bs, and don't want to take it to them. I live close to Crown Ford, but worried they won't service the car. Will see, as I don't want to drive out to Wantaugh and it seems Hempstead won't give me time of day. Let's see. Happy to have this group, and hoping none of us need the dealer at all (i'll just get my tire rotations from a local station).

I am trying not to bother him too much as I know there probably isn't anything he can do to get our cars out of Newark, but was just curious if you had gotten any updates. Defintely frustating that it is so close, but has been sitting there for weeks.
John and I spoke yesterday. Unfortunately, the factory controls everything about delivery until it shows up at the dealership; John doesn't even have access to information beyond the Vehicle Visibility Report, which hasn't changed since our cars arrived in NJ.

Do you have access to that tool as well? If so, what is it telling you? If not, DM me your VIN and I'll look it up for you. That "Inactive" concerns me, but it may simply mean no truck has yet been assigned. I'm also going to try to connect with Ford Chat to see what it can tell me. {Jonathan}

I purchased my vehicle from Newin’s Bay Shore Ford. I have had no issues with their Service Department. They did a great job with the glass recalls and software issues.

Yes, same for me as well. Been that way since it arrived in Newark. Hopefully the cars find a way to "Escape from Newark" lol
