Ok, it's been fun. But I've got to sell the Mach-e. I'm sure I'm not the first person to have to part with their Mustang because of a bad divorce. Anyway, I got an offer from CarBuyerUSA for $51,500 then, then the manager was supposed to call me back to arrange the transfer of the title and wireing me the money etc it suddenly got lowered to $50,00. He said that it was because they didn't realize it didn't have the sunroof (it's a Select) and that because Ford Motor Credit is slow to release their lean on the title. Sounds sus. I'm looking around for another offer. I tried the local dealer that I bought it from they low-balled me. Waiting for carvana and a few others to respond with offers. Also called another local dealer that supposedly has quite a few on the lot.

What should I expect to get for a 2021 Star White Select AWD with 17,000 miles?

I would expect something between $53000-55000. Get offers from: Carvana, CarMax, Driveway and Vroom.

@MachTri since you're in Maryland, use InRide. They typically give very fair prices and are negotiable. Before you reach InRide, make sure you have offers from those service mentioned above. They picked up my Focus RS in 2 days and I had a check in-hand on pickup (I also had the title). InRide operates out of Koons Ford Silver Spring, so it's not some random service.

Sorry to hear it. Driveway and Shift seem to offer higher than Carvana, Vroom et al. As far as expected value, go check KBB, NADA and Edmunds among others. Plug in your plates or VIN and enter your miles, condition etc. I’m betting your value is higher than original msrp by a decent amount.

Thanks @connoisseurr and @Pushrods&Capacitors Shift didn't want to give me an offer.

Vroom offered $46,351.
Driveway offered $48,762 they called and I asked if they could beat the $50k offer I had and they passed.

Inride offered $48,461 initially then requested pictures to do a remote appraisal to see if they can beat the $50k offer. Waiting to see how that goes.

Is Ford finally producing enough of these to push the price of the used ones down?

It could be that it's a select. I will say over the past year, many local dealerships were selling traded-in selects for about 50-52k.

Consumers definitely want the Premium and GT trims, no doubt.

50k seems very good for a select. I would jump all over that. People want sunroofs and the extended range models. Does yours have the comfort/tech or comfort/appearance package? If not, 50k is probably MUCH better than you could do elsewhere. If you’re in a warm climate area, it’s less important, but anywhere that gets below 60s regularly will see a drop in value without the heated seats and steering wheel.

Will you be getting another car to replace your Mach-E after you sell it?

Not for a while. I'll be working from home and carpooling until I recover financially. Besides. Nothing can replace that car.
Is selling the car your only option? As someone who's finally on the road to financial recovery post divorce you may put yourself in an area where your short term gain may lead to long term misery.

That makes total sense, I hope that you can get a good amount for your car and will be able to financially rebound quickly,

So I'll put my 2 cents in on this one. I recently traded my 2021 Select, with Co-pilot 360, tech package, 9200 miles. I was fed up with software issues and I wanted a Route 1 anyway. The dealership offered me $46,500 and we settled on $48,500. I figured that was a good enough price considering we're on shaky grounds with the economy. Obviously it'll depend on the state etc, but I did see a bunch of selects selling for around $52000 in my area. I checked and the dealership is now selling my car for $54,700 (which is too much imo)

Anyone looking to purchase custom liners for their Mach-E? I recently purchased custom liners from 3D Mats USA for the front seats, rear seats, trunk, and a child seat cover (see receipt attached). If you're interested in buying them please PM me.

Just to close the loop on this. Mixed emotions. I sold it for $50,000 to AutoNation in Laurel, MD. Very rare that you can get back what you paid for on a Used car, so that makes me happy. I needed the money. So, that's a relief. I'll be able to save some money on payments while I carpool and walk. When my finances ease up early next year I'll get either an Extended Range Mach-e, KIA EV6, or hyundai ioniq 5.
But that was the best car I ever owned.
