Dealer completed 21G01 this past Thursday. While the vehicle menus in the car's main screen (Adaptive Cruise and Blue Cruise settings) appear and are turned on, checking the Sync tab at the bottom of the page also shows Blue Cruise active with an end date in October 2022 (Guess I got swindled on the free year).

However, the Ford Owner site does not indicate that Blue Crui8se is activated on my car. Just the charge stations and connected nav. Even more interesting is that yesterday, I received an error that an OTA (2.7.3) could not be installed. Current version according to the vehicle update tab is 2.7.2 in spite of the 21G01 being dealer install.

Also having some wonky behavior of the adaptive cruise system. Twice today, I had it set to 66 mph. Disengaged it with the steering wheel button and when I reengaged it with the steering wheel button, the driver display showed it being set to 73 and it accelerated to 73 mph. the new speed set was an uncommanded request.

Anyone having similar issues? I haven't been in a Blue Zone yet but will be on Monday and test the system for proper operation then.

If your dealer completed the 21G01 then you will most likely not get the OTA updates. They will fail because they are looking for a level of software on your car that you have already updated beyond.

The October date is the date that the current set of maps are good until, not your subscription. The maps are updated every 6 months.

If you haven't tried blue cruise out then I can't say for sure but it connected services website doesn't always update the same time. However it could mean you don't have it, in which case I would recommend you reset your Ford pass and re-add the car. This should then prompt a notification in Ford pass that blue cruise is active.

My guess as to the set speeds are there is an offset set in your setting and the car picked up a different speed limit and applied the offset. That's not wonky, that's the speed sign recognition part of the intelligent cruise control

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with more information? I’ll see how I can assist on my end.

I've had this same experience in the past on a couple of four lane state roads. I set the cruise to a speed and suddenly it decides to accelerate to like 10 miles over what I had it set to.

I found that I needed to set my "tolerance" settings to zero. Then it didn't happen. I noticed this behavior at points on the road where a speed sign was posted. As soon as I passed the sign the car would decide we needed to go faster. Happened to my wife as well.

Like I said, I set the speed limit tolerance settings to zero, and to be fair, I've also updated my software on all the modules involved in cruise control to the current level (as of this date) so that problem hasn't re-surfaced in a while.

I am still waiting for my dealer to figure out why the 21G01 install they didn’t work. In fact it made my Adaptive Cruise control disappear. I sent them information on the SSM50824 fix but still have not heard back from them.
