Maybe there are others out there with similar problems, but I wanted to explain my issues and see if anyone has a solution. I received my long awaited 21 model 1.3 BC OTA update a couple of weeks ago. Finally was going to travel a 40 mile of interstate back and forth 2 days in a row. Got on it the first day and the blue dash lit up so I tried the lane change and it worked great 2 times and that was it. I know it was dropping out of BC quite often and then of course it didn't work, but I think that it was up most of the time and didn't work when I tried it. On the way home at night the BC was on most of the time, but the lane change never worked. The next day same route I tried it again and it worked a couple times and then no more and the BC didn't come on much at all. On the way back later in the day the BC stayed up most of the time, but the lane change never worked. Sometimes when not working you tap the blinker and nothing happens and sometimes it kicks off the BC. Bad BC interstate?? Open for opinions. Kind of impressed with the change in the speed sign recognition feature which gets you close to the speed by the time you enter the zone although the old way saved a little time as you wait almost to the sign and interrupt the cruise and let it reel in fast and then tap the cruise again at close to the right speed after the sign. Time will tell on that one. Thanks

I love BC 1.3 on my '23.

I noticed that whenever the camera is not able to see the lane markers clearly (rain, snow, dirt, road construction or temporary detours) the BC will cut out.

Past 3 months using it constantly on 500 mile road trips has been excellent.
Much better than 1.2 as it stays on almost 95% of the time.

This past weekend's drive, the BC did drop out due to construction and lane marker changes.
Lane changes would quit and BC would disconnect.

All I can offer is that you need to go at least 40 MPH for auto lane change, the arrows on the side of the car go away below 40. It should work with hands on and hands free.

I've got to look for those arrows, I only noticed that it said it was preparing for lane change when it worked and I was going 70+ all the time. It only works on BC roads right? It won't work with the lane centering on a non-bc road correct? Thank you

How far over 70 are you traveling? BC is limited to 80 mph and below.

Since this is a BC issue I thought I will add this here.

So I have a 2021 GT and finally got the BC 1.3 update today. however, it is not working. The 2 new switches (lane change assist and Lane reposition) will not turn on. The lane reposition will turn on for 3 seconds then turn off again. The Lane change assist will not turn on at all. If I slide the switch over it stays in the on position but does not turn blue and it does not function while driving.

I have the 1 year additional BC subscription and hands free is working, just not the new features.

First, land changes aside, are you noticing that 1.3 is behaving differently than 1.0? Disengaging more often?

Second, you probably know this if you have experience with 1.0, but BC will disengage more frequently or not engage at all if the cams are dirty or if the sun is low in the sky. The lane centering functionality is an optical system.

Third, if BC is engaging but the lane changing isn’t working, check your sensors and cameras. Including the ones on your side view mirrors, to make sure they are clean. I don’t think it uses the side mirror cams, but not sure that has ever been confirmed. Wouldn’t hurt to check.

I have the exact same issue. Bottom two buttons (lane change and another one) will not engage. What's the deal?

I didn't have the slider switches before and the lane change worked a few times as I mentioned. I got an update yesterday and now I have the switches which all turn on. Finally got a chance for a few miles of BC today after the update and as soon as you hit the blinker the BC shuts off. Wish someone could tell us what's going on with both our rigs.

Yes, based on what I mentioned earlier it sure appears that it cuts out much more now and I've never seen it stay off for as long as it did.

Forgot to mention, I'm on my complimentary 1 yr extension, hope that doesn't influence anything here.
