Finally on the move! Last known location was Laredo,TX as of yesterday. So now I should be able to track via the railcar number, correct? Anyone know the route to BC Canada?

Ground prong up/down will depend on the EVSE you get and how the plug is oriented. I went with a Juicebox which has the ground prong on the far side of the plug (relative to the unit) so I went ground down. Others will do it the opposite way.
How do you like the juice box? do you have another EV that you use it for? is the app reliable?

How do you like the juice box? do you have another EV that you use it for? is the app reliable?
This is my first EV so it's installed waiting to be used. Easy to install, connected to home Wi-Fi without any issues and the JuiceNet app seems like its got some pretty good features/reporting. Don't have much to say beyond that at this point. One of the main reasons I went with the JuiceBox 40 is Dominion Electric (our provider in Northern VA) provides a $175 credit with a new installation plus an annual rebate (if you went JuiceBox or Chargepoint) and JuiceBox also allows you to do load sharing with multiple units (trying to future proof a bit).

Yeah, i’m interested in the juice box as well. I was comparing it to the chargepoint flex. Thanks for mentioning the future proofing bit, definitely important to plan for the second EV charging needs when the time comes.

I've already had my first EV almost a year.

My only other advice is don't hardwire. It's tempting when you're just looking at specs on a website, but you don't need it and installing a plug will give you the option of using the included charger. Speaking of which, get something UL listed. Don't buy something for $200 on Amazon or ebay. I recommend a Chargepoint Flex - order it now if you go that route because there's usually a wait.
I got away with a standard breaker because I have a detached garage and told the inspector it was for an RV. All outlets in an attached garage require a GFCI breaker. If you hardwire an EVSE the breaker can be a standard breaker. The reason I didn't want a GFCI breaker is that most EVSE's have a built in GFCI and can cause nuisance tripping of the GFCI breaker. This is the reason Tesla recommends hard wiring their EVSE's.

6/24 build date here. Live in Dallas. Dealer said we get first delivery because the cars are coming from Mexico and one of the first stops is in Mesquite, TX.
but it's 7/7 and havent heard anything... i'll check with ford chat in the AM.... and let you know.

My MME shipped on 6/28 and went from Laredo, TX to Intenati, MO to Richards-gebauer, MO and is on Ramp 6R as of 7/8, scheduled to be delivered Aug 6-12. My dealers says that's nonsense and should be here within a week (Dallas, TX). The dealer has been pretty much wrong on everything so far.

Spoke to a person on the phone today. They said my car is on Ramp 5J at Lecheria as of July 4. So still no movement or railcar apparently, but the delivery estimate is still the same and from July 4 now (instead of June 25). The woman on the phone thought that it was still possible that that date is accurate even though it hasn't shipped yet.

Real life intervenes. BNSF rail through Barstow is likely route from KC to California. Barstow is clogged. Car carrying trains may be embargoed.

I'm DIYing mine since I'm comfortable doing electrical work. I'm installing ground up since I don't see any benefit to using an aftermarket EVSE.
I installed a semi-permanent EVSE because plugging and unplugging all the time can damage an outlet and greatly reduce it's life; plus I will always have my Ford EVSE in the MME when I need it. It also charges faster.

I saw that, I suspect that's why I'm Convoy rather than Rail (I'm assuming that means we're switching to a truck after the rail trip to MO).

As of this morning, my status is changed to received at Ramp 6P, Kansas City Mc, MO, so took less than 48 hours to get moved from Richards-Gebaur, I'll take it. Hopefully next update has a new railcar # that I can track all the way to the New Castle ramp in Delaware.
Another update... received my new railcar number (Norfolk Southern) from Ford chat yesterday afternoon, and as of early this morning it has departed KC eastbound.
